Win98 See's One Hard Drive Partition Twice?

Help, I have a hard drive partitioned 4 times but windows see's partition 3 twice and set up 5 drive letters, if I boot in safe mode it see's only 4 and works right? It seemed to do these after I changed drivers for my soundcard now I can't get it back right HELP, I have deleted the hard drive in my computer properties and let in re-detect it at start up but it does the same thing and the partition in doubles one works fine and one is using msdos compatibility mode?

Any help?
