I'm having troubles with sounds with this game. When the music is on, the game is occasionally a bit slower, like it's loading something. Without music no problems.
Any clues? Do I have to edit something at the console?

Need more info. What is your sound card, mobo, video card, processor speed...etc? What opsys do your run?

TB 1GHz, 256 mb(SDRAM), GF2MX-400(64 mb)...and the
soundcard is SBLive!1024. Oh, and VIA KT-133A and Win 98SE.
It's slower with the music on, the fps drops occasionally and then goes to normal again.

There are some posts elsewhere on this forum that talk about Soundblaster and VIA chipsets not playing well together. You might try a different chipset driver to see if that helps.

I have a soundblaster live and the game works fine. Make sure you have updated drivers. I can assure its not a compatability issue with RTCW.

Any probs with other games?

OK, I'll try with the patch or some other drivers.
