MOHAA and Quake 3 temp? [Archive]

Hi. When ever I play quake 3 my temps go from 42'C to 48'C.
But when I play MOHAA it just stays at 42'C. I thought I would be getting the same temps as Quake 3 since it uses the same engine. Have anyone else seen this before?

Now you know why Quake3 is still a great benchmarking tool after 2 years.

I suppose it comes down to the what settings (res, depth, textures, details, lighting, effects) that you use. If you use Q3's "high quality" settings, you're going to need some real steam to power it. Try setting Q3 to a mid-level detail and such and see what happens.
