I have no patience trying to get an answer from MSI (is there a secret?), I am hoping someone here can help. I have an MS-6119 motherboard and recently installed a stick of 256MB PC100 RAM. My system runs fine, but it is only reporting 128MB of physical memory during post. I have Sisoft SANDRA and that reports 128 in the Physical/BIOS Memory Bank section and Logical/Chipset Memory Bank, but reports 256 in Memory Modules. ???
Sisoft SANDRA also tells me my AGP is only at 1X, how do I get it up to the 2X my motherboard will support? Thanks to anyone who can lead me down the path to enlightenment.

Hello,
Maybe this site will help you "Here" (http://www.ctlcorp.com/support/ms6119.htm)

I assume you have the VIA chipset? If so, have you loaded the latest VIA 4 in 1 drivers? You can find version 4.37 here: www.viahardware.com

Thanks for the answers, but Grasshoper still not enlightened. The board has the Intel chipset, not the Via. My BIOS is Award Plug and Play version 1.0a. I tried to flash my BIOS, twice, it didn't work but strangely enough I can still use my computer. The first attempt I got an error message saying couldn't find source code. I thought it was because I left the .EXE off when I told the utility what program to use(ex. W619MJ27 instead of W619MJ27.EXE). I re-booted and on the second attempt the system hung after loading the above file. Obviously I did nothing since my old BIOS is still intact. Now I am really lost. Lastly, during boot up it says my motherboard is version 2.1, yet ver 1.1 BX2 is what is physically stamped on board after model #(MS-6119). I can find no reference to this version number.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, but unfortunately no solutions. I tried the link in Baddog's post, but when I installed the drivers I was informed that I was already up to date. I also got de-virginized with the Bios flash and like all first times, all thumbs. I didn't get the message of successful re-programming, but the latest version shows during post. Now that the initial fears are gone, I will try again with the flash. As of now, stilll only showing 256 of 384mb RAM and the AGP is still 1X. Thanks again for the answer I know is right around the corner...

Man you and Bovon and bios flashing just makes me crazy. Get a friend who has done it before to double check your flash procedures. I'd hate for you to have a successful fatal flash, i mean that's like being hiv positive. it turns the words positive and successful on their respective heads (my prayers for anybody who is HIV positive-- it is not meant as a slight). But man, be careful with that flashing puuuuuuuulease.
