Indeed! Final Fantasy VII is the bomb. I never played a better game in my life than that one. Metal Gear Solid came close though.

yeah, i was never a fan of metal gear solid, but FFVII.............it's just incredible, i've played through almost every *good* game thats been out in the last 3 years from MechWarrior 3 and C&C RA1 to Empire Earth, Black and White, RtCW and Civiliastion 3 and Pool of Radience, and percentage wise FFVII gets 100% while nothing else beat 85% in my opinion.

Did you ever play FFIII? I thought that game was better than FFVII.

Now I'm a big RPG player and some of my favorites probably some of you have never heard or played. They include:

-- Master of Magic (one of my favs...)
--Ultima IV
--Wasteland
--Wizardry VII
--FFIII
--FFIX
--Lunar Silver Star

Some others that are non-RPG include:

--Original Doom...ahhh the memories
--Gran Turismo (best racing game of all time)
--Heroes of Might & Magic III

As I've been thinking about my previous post something came to mind.......

It's been many years since I ran out to buy a game at release and I don't see that happening with any upcoming game except:

--If a true Master of Magic II was ever released.

In fact, I would buy the game if all they did was update the graphics and tweak the AI a bit to make it more challenging.

FF VII is great for a console game..still play it now

But my favourite at the moment is Ghost Recon. It rocks. brains and bullets.

Unreal is the first computer game I bought and loved. I played the mission pack: Return to Na Pali as well and enjoyed that.

Then I played Half-Life, which is even better in many ways.

Klingon Honor Guard was the first game to license the Unreal engine and it had lots of eye candy and some interesting gameplay. I found it for the grand sum of $6 and it's a good shooter that not many people have played.

Thief and Thief II are masterpieces of the gaming art and are at the top of my list of favorites.

No One Lives Forever is right up there too for it's humour and sophisticated and always changing, ever-fresh gameplay.

Last but not least are the single-player mods created by the gaming community for both Unreal and Half-Life. I've gotten more pleasure from these mods than the games that they originally sprang from.

I forgot to mention European Air War. What a great flight sim it is!!!

Deus Ex and System Shock 2 are what's on my plate now.

I am amazed to see all the people who have mentioned RPGs without listing the Baldur's Gate Series.

I've played them all and love them: BG2, especially with Throne of Bhaal installed just rocks.

X-Com is a great game too---- and it plays on a 386 under DOS.

Well, mines would be..
All of the C & C series (including red alert I & II)
but never had the money to by renegade (****! gotta find a job)

Half-life, with TNT2 32MB, it does not seem as bad as I thought

Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, loved it, but cannot even pass the first mission without cheat.

All of the Final Fantasy Series. I started from FF I on the nintendo system. III was extremly fun, when I first got it.

Dynasty Worriors II and III, hell yeah~~ I got III last chrismas, beat it like twenty times, still wants more of it.

All of the FIFA series by EA, I even played FIFA 94, which was still in 2D.

Superbikes 2000 & 2001 (not much difference).

Need for Speed series, from I to porsh release. I drive like a tourist.

Diablo I & II, Starcraft.

Almost forgot, GTAIII, hah~~ at least jack 10 car for every hour I played.


I really like to play the flight simulators, I've got 2000, but never patient enough to finish one trip.

My best games are:

Whacker's Ball III: The Revenge Continues - This one has awesome graphics. You can play online. Level IV is great.

1492: The Columbus Chronicles - This is one of the funnest games ever. Some pirates try to get your boat and you can frag them with scurvy.

Lightening Bolt Amateurs - This is not so much a game as it is an adventure. They have Part II coming out in May!!

But my bestest game is:

StabApple: The Lunar Landing - This game is filled with everything you could want! Villans, mucus, weapons, dodgeball, wizards, chronicles. I've played this game all the way through like 5 times!! It Rulez!!
