Ok, I need to know this:
Is there a program that will run DOS for one person, but on the same computer will run a second copy of DOS? I need working kyeboards for both (PS/2), would pluging a second keboard into the mouse port do this? Also, each copy of DOS running would need its own screen, I have the video cards and monitors, I just need the software, so does this exist? No, I do not want to use Win98.

What are you trying to do?

I am building a telaprompter, it has to be one computer, and the setup runs through 2 camera lenses. Each lense must be different. I can hook up everything, and I have enough ram to run 4 copies of the program smoothly.

I'm still not very clear about what you want to do. Do you want to run 2 copies of that application under one pc? The best way is to use windows or linux(much compact), they sport multi-task. Another way is to use Dosshell under Dos5.0, if my memory is still correct, it can FREEZE the current dos program and switch to another dos program, not a multitask OS, you can only run ONE program at anytime with the freedom of switching among them.

oh, you want each program having its own screen. So a multitask OS is needed or you have to write a special program to support 2 monitors and keyboards under dos, tough job.

Ya, even if I had the spare time, and the 16-bit training, I would not realy want to write something like this, all well.
