help me!!! i need a manual for a vision technologies motherboard!!!

o have a vt586vxc visiontop technology motherboard. i am looking for a manual or something so i can upgrade my RAM. it is 168 pin SDRAM. there is only 32 mb in it now and i would like to upgrade to 128 mb, but crucial.com has a memory selector that needs the info about the board. please let me know if you have any info about this motherboard :confused: please help me.

Click on Manufacturer Links and scroll down to Vision. It looks like a standard Super 7 board. Use a standard single-sided 168 pin 128MB SDRAM DIMM:

I wouldn't push on a 256MB DIMM.

You had better upgrade the board then. Vision is gone forever. They are not worried about you or your board. :rolleyes:

Your board is basically the same as the Soyo 5EHM. It is VIA-based and uses the same generic 168 pin SDRAM. It cannot support 128MB RAM. It only supports 2 - 32MB DIMMs.

i dunno... my tech support guy says that i can get 512 in.... he is the one that sold me this computer....he had 512 in it and it ran fine so..... but i dont know what type of board to get... i know tyan has good boards, but i dont have that much money.... thanx anyways
