I cleared history and temp files thru tools->internet options->general, my problem is not that it didn't clear all the addresses, because it did, however when i type a character in the address bar and then hit backspace then the down arrow on my keyboard, I get a whole lot of desktop 'stuff' in the address bar drop down. Why is that? Can someone hack into my computer thru it? and How do I get rid of it? I work tech support and a customer has dumbfounded me with this question. Any help with this would be appreciated. Oh, yes, one more question, does IE need this feature to stay integrated with the OS? Thanks for any input to my delema.
