Yes you can buy a pci graffics card. You can do a search through your browser. Here's one company; www.matrox.com (http://www.matrox.com)

What are you looking for?
How much are you willing to spend?

There are many more companies than Matrox.

It would be helpful if you provided a little more info. Does your motherboard have an AGP slot? Are you looking to upgrade 3d performance? Does your motherboard have integrated video? If you were more specific you will get a lot more specific suggestions.

PS My standard answer for PCI video adapters is Voodoo 3 preferably the 3000 model.

The GeForce2 MX works very well in PCI...I have a friend with a GF DDR in his AGP and a MX in his PCI for dual monitors...works like a charm.

i know it is alittle out dated in performance, but you can get 32MB TNT2's in PCI, just a thought if you were after something cheap, good quality 2d, and good (but not the best) 3d

Hi Guys,
Thanks a lot for your help. My enquirie was on behalf of someone who is staying with me at the moment, she has a s***** little compaq that has very few expansion possibilities, so i was just trying to let her know what her options were.
Thanks Again Daniel...
