Search for *.ico in the Temporary Internet Folder (or Local Settings, depending on how you have your system configured).

In this particular case, you can do a find file named visualzone*.ico. It will probably be found as visualzone[1].ico

I searched for both of the above.. no results?

I gave up. Can't be done manually on XP.

I downloaded and installed FavOrg. It does it all for me.. very neat little program.

It can be done. You have to make sure you have view set to show all files and unhide common file extensions.

I tried again, with "unhide common file extensions", checked all files in the IE folder and Windows Temp Internet files... still see none?
Also searched.. no results.

have you deleted temporary internet files since visiting the website with the icon you wanted? was your search for *.ico? did you search the entire C: drive? did you have include subfolders checked?

i deleted temporary internet files (to minimize search time) on an XP system, went to visualzone.com, then searched and found the ico file without any problem.
