Is there an easy way to import data from dbase, access or exel into Outlook Contacts, user defined fields? I understand it can be done through VB programming but I'm not adept at that and if the process is too long it makes more sense for us to hard enter the data again. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Realized this should probably be posted to apps. I'll move it there and delete this one abit later

If you already have the database to import,in outlook on the file menu is import/export this will give you a wizard that will take you through it. I needed to do this once, importing it was easy, creating the database to import not so easy.

Thanks but issue is with the "user defined" fields in a custom contact entry screen. Don't think this can be done through the import wizard. Sombody please prove me wrong.

Sorry, should have read your post more carefully,no that can't be done that way.
This might help. Importing user defined fields (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q197/6/54.ASP?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0&qry=importing%20user%20defined%20fields&rnk=2&src=DHCS_MSPSS_gn_SRCH&SPR=OUT2K)
