i was wondering if it is worthshile using smp with wolfenstein using the r_smp 1 option

d6vaa rev 1.0 motherboard w/raid
2xpIII 1000 cpu's
2 antec jet cool heat sinks
4 case fans
artic silver hs compound
512 generic ram
1 13 gig wd hard drive ata 66
2x20 gig wd hard drives ata 100 (not in service yet)
ge force 2 mx 400 vid card
12x8x32 cdrw
52x cdrom drive
1.44 floppy
17 inch monitor

smp= symetrical multi processing
using 2 processors to run the game versus 1
most applications are not multithreaded and do not use both processors
the quake III engine is multithreaded and can take advantage of multithreading
using the option r_smp 1 enables this

Since I don't use SMP, I can't tell for sure, but I do know that RTCW is a modified Q3 game under the hood. It's actually an id title and they were heavily involved in it's development.

I would bet dollars to donuts that the option r_smp 1 switch would work.
