OK, I wanted to get a All In One Radeon, but everyone talked me out of it so I got a ASUS V7700 GTS Pure 32-meg and am quite happy with its game performance. Got a initial score of 3000 in 3DMark2001 in 1024 res@32-bit--quite nice considering I came from a 16-bit voodoo 3. But I would also like to watch and cap tv programs. I saw at CompUSA that a ATI VE TV Tuner for $50. So my first question is will I be able to cap from this card if my main videocard is not ATI? And is it compatible with my GTS? OK, now my second is I would like to o/c it too--I'm at core@250 and memory@401--how far can I get this card without any extra cooling? It already has a fan on it. And if I have to cool it how do I go about it?

The ATI VE should work fine with your card. What video card you use with it is irrelevant so long as it supports overlay. Have one myself running with my GTS-V. My only gripe about it is that they haven't updated the drivers for it in a while and WinXP support is spotty.
As far as your overclock question, it's different for every individual card and system. You'll have to push it yourself and see at what o/c setting it will tolerate before choking.

OK, I tried overclocking it from 250 core to 270 and memory 401 to 424 and got only 50 more on my 3DMark2001 score--from 3000 to 3040. Is that good for it? I noticed that some have 1.0 ghz and get a 4000 score--better cards or cpu give it an extra ommph?
