FLOPPY DRIVE ERROR AT BOOT

WHEN COMP STARTS FLOPPY DRIVE ERROR OCCURS. IF U DISABLE FLOPPY FROM START UP THEN THE ERROR DOESNT COME.BUT FLOPPY DOES NOT WORK.IT STATES REMOVABLE FLOPPY? CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME.ALSO ITS A LAPTOP AND A NEW FLOPPY DRIVE CANT BE FITTED.PLEEASE HELP MEEEEE.

If you havn't changed anything in the BIOS nor replaced a cable, then it's probably a bad floppy drive or a bad floppy drive cable. Try making sure all of the connections are tight and try blowing out any dust with compressed air. Make sure your drive is turned on correctly in the BIOS. You may want to try to replace the cable but no guarantees.
