Last night I fried my son's Shuttle mb. Don't ask. So I've given him my machine (Iwill KK266). But now I need another mobo. :D I want to move up to PC2100 DDR because I was having problems with multimedia applications. The FIC AD11 looks pretty good judging from reviews, but I'd like to hear from someone who's actually using one. I will run an Athlon 900, Asus GeForce2 GTS, Windows XP.

In a few words, DOOOOOOOOON'T! FIC boards have a tendency to not boot after any removal or change of peripheral. You'll have to clear the CMOS each time. Also, FIC boards, like the AD11 use the AMD 761 chipset which don't like the Via 4in1 drivers, there's a patch on the CD you could use but I don't recommend it. It messes up the power functions.
Its stable once you get things set but, with the extra unneeded effort, I'd stay away.

What are you talking about anubisync? Why would the AMD 761 chipset be using VIA 4-1 drivers?

I have/had several FIC boards and I am/was happy with them.
Every brand has had at least some problems, so it depends on who you talk to and what their experiences were when you ask what is the best board to get.
I prefer:
Abit
Asus
FIC
RioWorks

I have been very satisfied with my (2) FIC VA 503+ mainboards, never a problem (other than user screwups)...but, I am totally dissatisfied with their customer service and I kinda doubt I will reuse any FIC boards in the future. Over the 5 years or so I have had these boards, I have had to write FIC several times...they do not answer...zilch. If anybody has actually recieved a response from them to a query sent to them, I have not read this anywhere. In the recent two weeks I have written them concerning a bios upgrade for my two boards, one is a 1.1B and the other a 1.2A. I would like to use the same bios upgrade for both, and it appears JE438 or 439 will work...so I asked a simple question..."will they work in my boards"?...no answer.
