Well,i am a Newbie here,so i will ask lame opinion.Whats the Best Moniter for the $.i know this is very opinionated.Yes i have read the reviews but leaves me somewhat perplexed.Mainly lookin for 17 or 19 CRT and most important of couse is color/contrast/sharpness.Using for Graphics Arts.Software like PhotoShop and such.Hoping to spend less than $400.00 but not a must.Thanks for Alls Opinions guys!:)

For graphics, I think that we can all agree on any Sony Trinitron-based 19" monitor. Many manufacturers use these tubes, but fall short in implementation/electronics. Here are three goodies. I can personally vouch for all three. The Sony supports two PCs!

Hi:I have a KDS K770@ view 17 inch and it is very Good monitor
also the price is fantastic Too
But if you need a High quality monitor Consider viewsonic

I've had no expierence with Viewsonic, but if u want a cheap, reliable monitor go with CTX.
I have a CTX 19" monitor and i've had it for a while now and it's working fine, i payed $500 Australian dollars, so you could probably get it for $250 us dollars.
