Hi all - just got my new philips CDRW 16 X 10 X 40 and its set up and running but a cable was included in the package that looks similar to the ones which are attached from the power buttons etc to the mbo, i have no idea what its for though?!!, i dont think its a CD Audio cable, besides my DVD is already hooked up to the Soundcard... any ideas?

It's an SPDIF cable for digital sound. If you audio card doesn't have an input for it, you can't use it.

Well...the CD audio connector is taken up by the DVD drive...does the sblaster PCi 512 have a SPDIF interface? and if so - how do i set it up??

I believe that the SB Live! was the first to offer SPDIF.
