My 2nd lap top hard drive will not boot and BIOS error message states "Primary Drive 0(zero) not found". It also makes a continous clicking noise. I have tried the boot disk + my antivirus recovery disk without any success at the c prompt where I also can't see or do anything on the drive, however, the above noise does stop?.

I have followed everthing in handling the drive as I only keep it home in safe storage etc and it has not been damaged in any way. Sounds like I may actually have to boot it in the bin ! If I can't get it working again.
