M717 BAD Bios update

hi, i need help, i'm going crazy.
Yesterday i tried to update my pcchips 717 bios.
so i downloaded the update utility the rom file, and
follow the required steps, and suddenly my computer
is not working anymore...
after a while i had to reset it, and it doesn't boot at all, all i get
is a endless number of beeps..
if a put a bootable disk onto the floppy drive, it looks like it's reading from it, and then it takes 2 beeps, stops, two beeps again.

i tried the suggested solutions in the bios recovery guide, but got nothing out of it.

has anyone any idea of what the beep codes mean?

i went to the amibios beep codes site, but the information i get there is no good for me.

If anyone knows what i'm doing wrong while trying to rebuild my bios....please....tell me, i haven't slept since yesterday.

The good news is the beeps mean it's still alive. This is the emergency recovery procedure complaining about no BIOS file found on the FDD.

You need a floppy disk, with nothing but the _right_ (!) BIOS file on it (named AMIBOOT.ROM). Then it'll automatically re-flash.
