I am about to change my SCSI controller from a Mylex Controller to an Adaptec controller. Will the existing hard drive still work? I had no problems when I went from a Qlogic controller to a Mylex controller?

Is it possible for 2 controllers to be in the same computer while converting from one controller to another?

Put the new card in, but connect no drives. Load Windows and then the drivers for the Adaptec.

You should now be able to shut down, switch the drives and go.

Yes...the PC can likely host even more controllers than 2.
