I just bought a new sidewinder precision pro and for some reason the stupid thing keeps saying "game controller not connected or is not communicating." Can anyone help with this? I'm using it on usb and I downloaded the drivers from microsux but to no avail. Thanks for the help!!
Oh yeah I read that there may be a conflict with the sound card(soundblaster live value) but I didn't think that would matter with usb.
Also I've got oc'ed k6-2 with 100mhz fsb could this cause problems too??

I found all of my USB devices to have problems initializing. Most often I have to unplug them after starting Windows and then plug them back in until the drivers load correctly and device manager no longer shows a exclaimation mark for the device.

I think it's a USB problem in the first place, may be related to mb design specs or to MS software, I don't know.

Is there an exclamation mark by the USB symbols under sytem properties? If there is, then you have to go to your CMOS screen and enable USB. And Do you have Win 98 cuz if you have Win 95, that might be the problem.
