DAO Recording

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I try to burn a bin and cue using CDRWin, I get an error message that says:START DAO RECORDING command failed on device 1:0:0.
Anyone know what could be causing this?
DAO Recording seems to be the problem, because TAO works fine with EZCD creator.
ALL and any help is appreciated.

What software?
What setup?

Plextor 8432 eide
win 98 SE
SD11 Mobo 550 amd
set as Master on second channel with the cdrom as slave

I'm checking into bus mastering problems....

That would have been my guess (DMA) since your drive supports DAO (older ones don't).
