I belive there is something wrong with one of my RAM modules. One stick makes my computer very unstable.
Is there a good program that could check my RAM modules for any errors ?

Usually, in your bios you can set up the POST test to do a three time read and write test. Quick way to see if it is very bad ram.
I had a faulty module, caused non specific, sporadic and unpredictable computer and application crashes.

If the following sounds like an ad, it's because I took the info from their webpage. I've used the program and found it very informative. It tests much more than memory.
#1-TuffTEST-Lite (http://www.tufftest.com/tt01-lite.htm) uses its own proprietary operating system, is self-loading, and is designed to load successfully in systems with suspected hardware malfunctions. Thus it can test a PC system regardless of its native operating system (DOS, Windows, Unix, Linux, OS/2, etc.). You can even troubleshoot a PC with no fixed disk drive.
#1-TuffTEST-Lite utilizes its own custom device drivers so that diagnostic routines interact directly with the PC's hardware. This produces precise and reliable test results that are unaltered by native operating system error recovery routines and eliminates the false positives and negatives so common with DOS/Windows-based utility-type diagnostic products.
A #1-TuffTEST-Lite Program Diskette contains multiple diagnostic programs in compressed format. Each program is custom written for a specific microprocessor/bus combination. As #1-TuffTEST-Lite loads, the microprocessor/bus combination of the target system is analyzed, and only the appropriate diagnostic program for that system is expanded and loaded into main memory.
#1-TuffTEST-Lite is comprised of the most thorough and rigorous set of diagnostic tests and functions for Main Memory, the first 8 MB of Extended Memory,Disk Drives, Video Displays and Adapters, and one Serial interface and one Parallel Interface. These comprehensive tests provide extremely reliable results.
