Running a system with following specs "ECS k7s5a mobo, tbird 1.33, 128 crucial ddr, Western Digital 30 gb HDD" and when I boot the hard drive is not detected. After rebooting about 3 times it will finally detect it, tried different IDE cables different jumper settings, and still does it. When it detects, it takes about a minute to actually detect it and then it'll boot up just fine. Not really sure what to do about it. Any help would be nice.

You could run a diagnostic on the hd using WD's dlg utility see if it reports anything otherwise I'd blame the ecs board after reading a rather lengthy post on problems with these boards I'd rma the board and get something like a shuttle ak31 if it accepts ddr ram or there newest mobo ak35 which cost around 20 bucks more but worth the extra expense over the aggravation. If your set at a 133 fsb I'd try 100 see if the problem continues.
