I have some video files that are currently on 4 Super VCD's and I would like to take these and put them onto a single DVD-R disc. the thing is I don't have a DVD writer, but my friend does, although he doesn't know how or if we can do this as he's not long had the DVD writer.

so how would I go about it?

if the worst comes to the worst I think I can just pull the mpg files from the disks and burn them to the DVD-r but as this is all new, i really am not sure. does anyone have any real idea of how to do this please. try not to guess please as the DVD-R disks aren't cheap. ;)
