I'd like to upgrade my motherboard+processor...

I know there are some limitations depending on my power supply.

I have a 250Watts Enlight ATX PSU, EN-8254942, model HPC-250-101 Rev:C

I have a 20 Gb. Hard drive, 1 CD-Reader, 1 CD-RW

I was hopping I could install an AMD Duron 1Ghz, but I think they require at least a 300Watts PSU...

I don't wanna expend a lot of money....maybe $200

It just ocurred to me.....why not change my PSU also?
will a Enlight - 340Watts PSU (model EN-8341934A1) fit on my case?

Anyway is the Duron a good bet? can I get something better for around the same $$$???

Thanks for your help....

Which one of these 2 motherboard would be better anyway?

- FIC AZ11EA (http://www.fica.com/products/motherboard/Socket462/AZ11EA.stm)

- Tyan S2390B Trinity KT-A (http://www.tyan.com/products/html/trinitykta.html)

besides the regular AGP & PCI slots they have the following:

- The first one has 1 CNR slot, what is that one for?
- The second one has 1 ISA slot, which would be good for my current SCSI card....but I could live without it...

Any suggestions?

Why don't you think about the ECS k7s5a mobo which you could pick up for < $60.00. This board will support up to athlon xp 2000 and it also supports duron cpu's. It has 2 ddr ram slots and 2 sdram slots so you can use your old 133 sdram now and upgrade to ddr ram later.
The only thing I don't like about it is that its not a good board for overclocking. However, you can use a shareware program called cpufsb to overclock the board in windows. The changes can be saved to the registry.
You have to get a 300 watt ps or better. The duron cpu is fine for now and is very overclockable.
You can probably get these three items for about $200.00.

I just found the overclocking bios for this board and flashed it.
You get it from ocworkbench.com. Great site! The board also has on board lan Mr NoOne
