pretty interesting reading!
sounds like intel are just hoping people will recompile all there code to get the added advantage of a faster CPU.
Just hae to wait and see, but it was pretty good news for the athlons

Hey On techtv news yesterday I heard that Intel Recalled the P4's because they had the wrong instruction sets.

I agree with voogru, and I'm also going to hold out for the IBM On-Insulator technology (I know its five years away but what the heck http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif)

He's a bit subjective I think, but once you spot that you can see the weaknesses of the CPU and add the missing objectivnes.

AMD all the way baby! yeah! death to intel hehe, somethings is definately not right when a 1.5ghz processor is beaten by a 1.2ghz processor in most tests done.
