Hmm... DSL and Earthlink. Getting service through Sprint? I got the 1.5mbps package from them and they have bent over backwards to help. whoever it is they should provide extensive support for their install, they'll send a tech out who will set up a LAN for you and one network card should come with your install, so if you are hooking up your dad's computer too, you would only need to purchase one. Any old 10/100 network card will do (I like 3Com) which you should be able to get at any computer store for under $20. Sprint contracts almost all there tech's, so if you have the card there when they do the install, there is a good chance if you are nice to the guy(or gal) they will network the two computers for you, as it is only a ten minute or under process if ya know what you are doing.
