Hi http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/redface.gifne of my win 95 it has supra express modem ,However when I tried to apply a diagnostics on -it via star/setting/control panel/diagnostics tab /
all my system freeze and ctrl +alt+delete it doesn,t work anymore ...
also I got same problems If I tried to dial-up to my ISP..your help is greatly appreciated.

Problem
Becuase the computer is testing the modem by dialing, you might not be freezing at all.
It is very common to think you are freezing because there is no indication as to the progress of the modem, so you feel like you are at the mercy of the computer.
Solution
What I would do is try it again, and wait for a few minutes (at least three)before you restart.
If the problem still persists, and you really are freezing, please answer the following questions to continue troubleshooting:
1. What are your system specs?
2. What have you tried already to solve this problem?
3. Are you still able to log onto the internet, despite the diag. freezing?
