I would highly recommend new ram. PC100 is not designed to work on a 133MHz FSB. It may work though, but I would not feel comfortable with it.

You may want to make sure that your current motherboard doesn't support a 133MHz FSB before you spring for a new one. Sometimes you have to set a jumper on your motherboard in order to make it work.

Good Luck

it safe to say my old MOBO does not it a PC 100 MOBO witha intel 440xz chipset support pII 500 MHZ or celeron 433 MHZ cpu which was my old chip before it burn out and the MOBO support 66,6 to 100 MHZ front bus speed

i now have a pIII 800 cpu at 133 bus

Your CPU is an 800 MHz PIII and you are replacing your motherboard. If you don't install 133 MHz memory, you are going to become very well-known in the tech support forum. You will be so busy troubleshooting your system you won't have time to milk your chickens....

Buy new 133 MHz SDRAM Give away or sell your 100 MHz SDRAM so you won't be tempted to try to use it.
