Memory

I need some help with this memory issue. I am building a new system using a Duron. My question is, is there a specific type of memory needed for durons, tbirds, etc. I have seen some of the details for various mem types state either for athalon platform and not for athalon. I would also like to get some suggestions for wich type/brand (if it matters) I should get.

A lot of people here swear by the name brand stuff but I've used 5 different kinds of generic SD ram(1 stick of PC100[64MB] then 2 different kinds of PC133[64MB] and now 3 sticks of PC133[128MB-2 brands]) with good results(Host clk + 33, fast setting) on my Duron board.
