Hello!

I've got some trouble with my dvd-player.

System:
Pentium II 400
FIC VB-601-V
Ati Rage IIC
LITEON DVD12
SoundBlaster live Player 5.1

PowerDVD is used for playing dvd's.

I have installed my dvd-player as master on the secondary IDE, I have enabled DMA, and I have installed my soundcard properly (I think so). The problem is: If DMA is enabled, the sound is awful, I hear the real sound of the DVD, but it is somewhat clipped and there are a lot of strange sounds. I tried out two DVD's, and it was the same for both. Then I disabled DMA, and sound was O.K., but the film was not fluent anymore.

What can I do?

Tomy.
