I am in the market for a new hard drive and am thinking about getting a 40 GB 7200 RPM drive or two 20 GB 5400 RPM drives and using the RAID controller on my ABIT BX-133 RAID. Has anybody used two 5400's for their RAID array? If you have please post some HDTach or SANDRA results along with what drives you're using.

if you put the two 20GB HDD 5400 onto raid 0, you will get almost double the read/write speed of just one 20GB HDD ,which in turn will be faster than one 40GB HDD at 7200
