I was wondering why my scsi performance is so low right now I am running a abit KT7 with a Enlight storage unit EN-8700 with 3 ultra scsi2 18.2gb 7200rpm drive Raid 0 on a Adaptec aaa-131u2 controller . When I run sys Sandra the bench marks are rating the drive @ 13000-19000 with only 16-20 MB of data being transferred is this normal? I also noticed that when I pull up the details of the scsi card through Sandra it only shows up as 8 bit I thought it was normally 16 or 32 bit with the exception of servers running 64 bit. Any suggestion are welcome . I am new at this so don't tear me up .

Have you tried increasing your scsi card's performance in it's bios? I can adjust the throughput of my old Adaptec 2940AU in it's bios(I set it at it's Max of 20MB/s, default was 10MB/s).
