Yesterday I've reached the 1.1GHz (183FSB) at 800MHz P3 Coppermine cC0 programming my PLL-IC frequency clock generator with a CPUCOOL tool. And it's stable.
190MHz sucks (but not CPU, it seems like memory or video crashing).
Maybe, something like between 183 and 190 will be stable, but I don't want to experiment - I've got bored with it.

Yeah, if it will still post but is unstable, then raise the core voltage a little. I always go up in 0.5v steps, the lowest my mobo will allow, keeping an eye on the temperatures.

My Celeron runs at 1.75v, but I had to put it up to 1.9v to get the FSB to 118mhz. I wouldn't go any higher because I was afraid that more power would damage the chip.

Surprisingly it didn't make much difference in my score. I went from 1.68GHz to 1.776 and it just doesn't make much difference. Maybe it would with a Radeon 8500 ... but, not with my 7500.

I remember seeing this ... It is basically a very small heat pump.

Three things:

1)Pray that it will fit!

2)Install more case fans to help move the super heated air out of your case.
3)BUY A SHIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nonconductive is best.

I don't think I would be too happy with several peices of Tbird in my "learning experience" graveyard.
