Say I would have posted this question to another forum but for some reason it was down at the time.
I recently had a system crash and my OC restored an older registry automaticly. I had to make all kinds of preference changes naturaly but the one thing that I cannot figure out is why all of my files such as those in my briefcase as well as all of those accessable by desktop Icons, are listed with large icons. When I go to the view menue and change it to list as an example, it will change but immedialty revert back to the large icon upon closing the program. I can't figure out how to get it to allow me to permanantly change the view. MIke
