how you get registered dimm and unbuffered dimm to work together

I was just wondering how you get registered dimm and unbuffered dimm to work together. Cause I have both kinds but it can only read 1 kind. please help

Usually you cant mix different types of ram together and have a stable system. I would suggest selling the dimm that doesnt work with your board and buying some that does with the money

Both kinds of ram work on my system but they don't work togehter one is a hp 256mb reg sdram pc 100 and the other is a 128mb infineon sdram pc100 CL2 I think this one is unbuffered because the other is registered they don't work together but when they are in by themselves they work so I just need to know how to make them work togehter.
