AMD Multiplier Locks

i was just wondering the state of the multiplyer locks on with the new morgan core durons. i know that the "old" t-bird athlons came unlocked after 1.2GHZ. but are the new morgan core durons unlocked? just wondering. thanx in advance.

I beleiave they are locked.
But they can be unlocked

darn. thatz wut i thought. oh well, better get that #2 pencil out when i get my new duron.

I dont know if the old pencil trick will work like it did on the old ones. You will have to rry though. I now that they made the cuts in the Xp's deaoer so the u had to use somthin stronger than a pencil. Give a try and tell us if it works.
