Is there an option in Windows 98 to password protect folders in Explorer? If not, what program will do this?

Only NT's NTFS partitions provide this kind of NATIVE support. But look @ this site. I'd be leery, tho, 'cause something like this is probably going to be a fairly heavy overhead for a Win9X system.

aww man, i saw the thread title and came to check it out thinking it was a joke. oh well. in answer to your question, though .... well, it looks like BFlurie has already done a good job of answering it. No native support for doing this in win9x.
