I went form a duron 750 idle 36 full 39 to a t-bird 1.33 idle 42 full 46 those are old temps for my t-bird. before i added extra cooling. new temp idle 30C and full 36C mondayz 01-22-2002, 02:58 PM That's a pretty good drop in temps. What extra cooling did you add? gibsinep 01-22-2002, 03:05 PM well what i did was i took off the case put a piece of metal across the top and attached an 80mm sunnon case fan to the metal. The fan blows directly on the cpu and heatink. Then cut out a large hole in the top of my case put a grill over it and pu the case back on. Also i installed a PCI card cooler exhuast fan to get rid of the heta coming from the cpu. See the fan blows the cpu heat down to the exhuast cooler and the exhuasr shoots it out the back. mondayz 01-23-2002, 07:55 PM I have pretty much the same set up except my intake is on the bottom and blows up to the exhaust on the top-back, above the power supply. The bottom fan cools my fanless Matrox card too. gibsinep 01-23-2002, 08:26 PM cool so what are your temps SysOpt.com
