How long does CloneCD take to make a image file?

I've tried clone CD and 2 hours into the image file it was around 5%.

Yes, it is very slow, but 2 hours for 5%?
Took me about 40 min to read, and about the same to write. Interestingly it wouldnt write another 'till I did a reboot.

What are you guys talking about? The CDRW drive in my machine at work (which is NOT fast btw, 4x write speed) takes about 10-15 minutes to write the ISO file and maybe just slightly more than that to write it to a blank CD-R disk.

Sounds like it might depend on the type/quantity of data on the cd !!

Why does it take so long? I was at 22 minutes and with 1% done. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif That's not good.
