Is NTFS better for windows 2000, on a 40gig or 80gig hard drive?
I have a consistency error right now running under Fat32, I'm not sure if it has to do with Fat32 but I'm about to partition my hard drive again should I go with NTFS or Fat 32?

I would say that NTFS would be better on, basically all HDD.
I have used NTFS for a good number of years, and I wouldn't think about going back to FAT32.

FAT32 vs. NTFS? That'll be NTFS  It's really no question about it. Everyone I know that's running Win2K/WinXP have NTFS filesystem.. NTFS is more secure, you can give different users access to different folders etc.. it allowes indexing for faster access. The extra short version: Just go for NTFS :D

When it comes to Fat32, just say no.
