Does anyone know how to tell what the memory configuration & type is by the writing on the modual chips?? More specificly, I have some memory SIMM's which came out of a defunct Acer Aspire, 100MHz Socket-7 system. I have know idea what configuration they are and have no 'Puter system available, (with SIMM's), to check them out with.

They have gold contacts with 8-chips on one side only. The chip stamp reads;
OKI Japan
M514400C-70sJ
53355129A9Z

4-8Meg? EDO?, ECC?, 60-70ns?...Etc

Can anyone tell me what they are? or point me in a direction to find out?

Thank you!
