Hi
I have a digital video (DV) sony handycam which has the i-link connection. I want to connect my video's to the PC for video editing etc. I have some questions and requests I wish for you to answer relating to this topic.
1)Sony VAIO computers support the i-link connection but I don't plan on buying a VAIO just for this reason. All that Sony says is that there are other peripherals that have the i-link connection, but they won't tell me what they are, so if you could list a few it would be a great help.
2)what are some other ways to edit video, is the S-video the next best alternative in terms of qulity.
3)Sony VAIO computers apparently come with some good video editiing software, can you tell me the names of the best/good video editing software available and/or links to some sites. I don't think sony offer their software for download, if they do I haven't found it.
Any other related info will probably be helpfull, thanks heaps! CYA
ps. I think video capture and editing might be worthy of a new forum page, what do you think? Maybe this should have been posted in video cards heading; I don't know.
