Is there a way to "Zip" folders full of files?

I needed to send a folder for a (corrupt) program. I had to send about twenty-five individual files as attachments. Is there a utility that would have let me send the folder with its contents, rather than break out each file?

Winzip, WinRAR just to name 2 www.download.com (http://www.download.com)

If you have Winzip 8 you put all files in a folder/ right click the folder and you get the options to; Add to Zip or Add to Zip and Email
