Is this an IE only thing? I'm not getting errors using Netscapce.

While its not a fix, these two solutions can make the error less annoying in IE:

Check "disable script debugging" in tools, internet options, advanced? You will only see a small error symbol at the bottom edge of IE.

You can also completely disable Java and JavaScript, but this could cause problems while browsing other sites.

My system is currently behind a filtering proxy server that re-formats HTML as it is transfered between connections. I have my filter configuration setup to remove most JS coding anyway.

Everyone does seem to be correct, however, that Netscape (and Opera) does not produce the error. This seems to be an IE-only related issue.

Hopefully Scott will address this issue (plus other forum errors) when he comes back from Comdex.

Thanks for that. I also changed some security settings, and that got rid of it as well.

You can also try turning off Java/JavaScript in IE Tools/Internet Options/Security/Custom Level.

The error should be fixed.

Errors are gone, but now I've got a new problem!!

Got so used to the spot where the error's "OK?" button was that now I'm clicking the banner automatically with each page change... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif
