I just bought an EpOX 8kta3l, and the box had NO manual in it...
Now I'm having problems with it, first off I'm not sure how exactly to raise the FSB to 133 so that my CPU will be recognized as a 1.4 Thunderbird instead of a 1050Mhz...

Also, whenever I go to do the windows setup, it freezes...I'm not sure what could be causing this...
I've swapped out every part int he machine...and the only thing I can think of is a Mobo setting somewhere is off...

If anyone has the manual in .pdf please send it my way, or any help...I'm in dire need of it :)

P.S. the EpOX download site is down...

Well, I forgot the cardinal rule of troubleshooting...patience...
The system just wanted to take its time right there, no biggie...

But I still need that darn manual so I can put my FSB to 133 so I can run my chip at its normal speed...

Somebody please help...

Look on the board for sets of jumpers. Some boards must be set to either 133 or 100 MHz; 100 MHz is the default setting. I wouldn't attempt changing the jumpers, though, until you do get the manual to confirm their functions. I'm sure the manual is available in .pdf online.
What about the vendor? A mainboard without a manual is an incomplete product.

I know...there are two sets of DIP switches, I'm sure one's FSB and one's multiplier...BUT they're not labeled...

The guy who sold it to me is supposed to be looking for it...It didn't have any of the software either...
