Is the Sparkle GeForce2 Ti with 64mb DDR ram and tv out worth getting? As i don't really wanna spend over £100 on a graphics card. The GeForce 3 seems too expensive.

System:

AMD Athlon XP 1700+
MSI K7T266 Pro2 DDR Mobo
256Mb Crucial DDR SDRAM PC2100
Voodoo 3 3000 AGP with TV-out
40GB Segate Baraccuda III ATA100, 7,200rpm, 2mb Cache
Creaive PCI128 Sound Card
44x CD-ROM UDMA33
Mitsumi CR-4809 24x 12x 40x 16mb buffer
Diamond SupraExpress 56e pro

thanx guys

Robuk...

It depends on what you mean by "Worth getting??" The gf2 ti card is extremely fast for a gf2 core...BUT it is getting outdated. You would see a huge incrase over your voodoo right off the bat, but if i were you spend the little bit extra and get a gf3-ti200 and overclock to the speeds of a gf3-ti500.

Hope i helped,

I bought that same card about 3 weeks ago. I absolutely love it. I have it overclocked 230/450 and have not one artifcat or video mess up at all. Well worth my money.

well after reading about the new Geforce 4 hitting the shelves in feb, i think i'll skip getting the GeForce2 Ti and get a GeForce3 ti200 when the prices come down.

Can anyone reccommend a good GF3 ti200???

I dont know if its the same over there but here (canada) you can get a oem radeon 8500 for about the same price as a gf2 ti retail. Thats what i would get if it was me.
