Yes friends, at long last, my school finally got the computers they were looking for. I walked into the old computer lab during lunch (where I usually eat) and almost fainted! There sat at least 30 new Gateway computers, fully equipt with monitors, speakers, a mouse, and a keyboard.
The specs for the systems are as follows:
The model number is E1400- SE
They are Intel Celleron (don't know the Mhz, the computers are still in the box)
15 inch monitors
usb/ps2 keyboards and mice
full two paneled towers
NIC of some sort
I don't know much about these SPIFFY new computers yet, but you can bet I won't be able to sit down during class tomorrow while they set the network up, I wonder why I can't help, no one knows I like computers at school, and I think I want to keep it that way.
Just wanted to tell everyone,
TJ

Congrats,, I bet you can't sit still thinking about that wonderful smell when the packing comes off..
No Doubt some left handed, dyslexic, naysayer from the OTHER side of the tracks will have some smart remark that they AREN'T brand so and so.. who cares what they think ??
On the silence thing, this has its ups and downs.. If you let it be known, you might get some "special" privileges.
or you might find every dumazz in school thinking you can train them in 3 minutes.
Or the intellectually challenged "Bullies" may make an example of you..
If the last one is the case and you live near a large city, call back.
I'll contact the nearest Biker club for a "little training session" for the bullies http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif j/k.

No I go to school in a hick town called GUNNNNER(as my friends call it, its really gunter, TX).
I like being quiet about it, becuase when I build the KissSystem, it will take everyone by surprise, and no one will feel that they deserve some of it, no one will care. Kinda wierd.

Don't forget to put regedit.exe on a floppy so you can play with the new toys the "Beemer" way. They will remove the run command as well. I can post or send you the work around if you like. I wish I was in school still. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I wish I could crack RC5 at my computer lab. Each computer is a PIII 800Mhz system, and would pump out about 600 blocks per day, including kids working on them. x 50 computers that'd be 30,000 blocks per day. 210,000 blocks per week. 900,000 blocks per month. 21,600,000 blocks in two years.
Whoa. Maybe I'll have to look into that. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
