Is it possible to boot a Compaq Armada M300 with a external floppy drive connected to the parallel port?

I would say YES as there are ZIP DRIVES that Use the LPT port and can boot..

There is probably a Option in the Bios with regards to using External boot devices..

Have a good look at the bios and go from there..
